Its fire resistance is class A1, with low thermal conductivity and high sound absorption capacity. As Eratherm, we supply rockwool board, mattress, and pipe products in all densities from Turkey and Europe.

Glasswool (Glasswool)

Glasswool is a light and economical insulation material obtained by fiberizing molten glass. It withstands temperatures up to 250–350°C and is used in HVAC ducts, office-building piping, low-temperature process lines, roof, and wall insulation. Thanks to its flexible structure, it can be used over large surfaces without creating gaps. It has high fire resistance and is class A1. As Eratherm Inc., we stock all roll, mattress, pipe, and panel-type glasswool products.

Ceramic Wool (Ceramic Fiber)

Ceramic wool is a high-temperature refractory insulation material offering resistance from 1260°C to 1600°C. It is used in furnaces, refinery units, treatment plants, gas turbine seals, combustion chambers, and heat treatment equipment. Thanks to its low thermal conductivity, light structure, and thermal shock resistance, it is an essential insulation for high-temperature processes. Blanket, board, module, and paper-type ceramic wool products are supplied by our company and installed by our application teams.

Cellular Glass (Cellular Glass / Foamglas)

Cellular glass is a cryogenic insulation material with 100% closed cells, non-absorbent, vapor impermeable, chemical resistant, and operable between -268°C and +430°C. It is an ideal solution for LNG, ammonia, LOX/LIN/LAR storage tanks, cryogenic pipelines, and chemical plants. Due to its high load-bearing capacity, it is the most reliable material, especially for tank bottom insulation. As ERATHERM, we supply flat sheet and pipe-type cellular glass products from domestic and international sources.

Polyurethane (PUR) and Polyisocyanurate (PIR)

PIR and PUR materials offer the highest efficiency between -50°C and +120°C with low thermal conductivity. They are used in cryogenic and cold process tanks (especially ammonia & LPG tanks), cold lines, chiller systems, and industrial storage tanks. In PIR block applications, the vapor barrier system is of critical importance along with heat bridge-free installation techniques. As Eratherm, we supply PIR block, PUR injection, prefabricated PIR/PUR pipe, sheet, and panel-type products.

Calcium Silicate (Calcium Silicate)

Calcium silicate is a high-strength rigid insulation material with resistance up to 650°C, used in hot process equipment, steam lines, and around turbines and boilers. Due to its high mechanical strength, it is not damaged during maintenance and repair. We supply products compliant with ASTM C533 standard and perform their application in heavy-duty processes.

Armaflex (Elastomeric Rubber)

Armaflex is a cold insulation material made from elastomeric material, reducing condensation risk to zero thanks to its closed-cell structure. It is widely used in VRF lines, chiller systems, cold water lines, and HVAC applications. Due to its low µ-value, it has very high vapor diffusion resistance. As Eratherm, we supply all Armaflex Class O, HT, AC, and pipe-type products.

Aerogel (Pyrogel / Cryogel)

Aerogel is the insulation material with the lowest thermal conductivity in the world. It is high-performance, thin-sectioned, and hydrophobic. Pyrogel XTE, XTF series are used in hot processes; Cryogel Z is used in cryogenic applications (-196°C). A 5–10 mm thickness matches the performance of 30–40 mm of conventional materials. It is the ideal solution for refineries, LNG plants, and offshore platforms.

Cryogel (Cryogenic Aerogel Blanket)

Cryogel is a cryogenic-class aerogel blanket used in LNG, ammonia, ethylene, propylene, and oxygen/nitrogen/argon plants. It offers superior performance in tank, column, cold-box, and pipe insulation with ultra-low thermal conductivity and flexible structure. Additionally, it has very high condensation resistance and is quite easy to install due to its low weight.

Perlite (Expanded Perlite)

Perlite is a lightweight, economical insulation material with a wide application area. It is used in cement plants, boilers, thermal power plants, and high-temperature equipment. Additionally, perlite concrete can be used in the outer shells (annulus filling) of LNG and ammonia tanks under vacuum or inert atmosphere. Our company supplies bulk perlite, perlite concrete, and panel-type perlite products.

Insulation Blanket – Insulation Jacket (Removable Insulation Jackets)

Removable insulation jackets provide quick maintenance and high energy savings in valves, flanges, pumps, filters, strainers, turboexpanders, and equipment heads. They are produced with special fabrics and insulation layers with temperature resistance between 250°C–1100°C. As Eratherm, we offer custom design, manufacturing, and installation services.

Aluminum and Galvanized Sheets (Metal Jacketing)

Metal cladding is critical for protecting insulation, especially in outdoor environments. Aluminum, stainless steel, and galvanized sheets protect the outer surface of pipe, tank, and equipment insulation. They provide UV resistance, impact protection, and waterproofing. As Eratherm, we supply metal jacketing products in roll, corrugated, and stucco types, with thicknesses ranging from 0.4 mm to 1.0 mm.

Ceramic Fiber (Ceramic Fiber Products)

Ceramic fiber rope, cord, and woven fabrics are used for high-temperature sealing, gasketing, and furnace door edges. Products in 1260°C and 1430°C classes are available. Their thermal shock resistance is quite high.

Refractory Mortars

Refractory mortars are special binder mixtures designed for use in furnaces, boilers, combustion chambers, and high-temperature equipment, with resistance from 1500°C to 1800°C. They can be acidic, basic, or neutral in structure. As Eratherm, we supply all castable, gunning, and press-type refractory mortars.

Fire Brick and Mortars (Fire Bricks)

Fire bricks are used in cement, steel, and ceramic kilns due to their high refractory resistance. High-density, high-alumina content, or lightweight insulation-class brick options are available. Our application teams specialize in fire brick laying and refractory installation.

Soluble Fiber Insulation Fibers

Soluble fiber is an environmentally friendly high-temperature insulation material with a biodegradable structure. It offers alternative solutions with minimal health risk in applications above 1000°C. It is increasingly preferred in refinery, energy, and furnace applications.

They are used with a vapor barrier in lines with high condensation risk. Eratherm supplies PIR prefabricated products for all diameters and wall thicknesses.

Vapor Barrier (Vapor Barrier)

The most critical element in cold and cryogenic insulation systems is the vapor barrier. It prevents water vapor from entering the insulation, prevents condensation and icing, and extends the material's lifespan. We offer products in aluminum foil, polyester film, mastic, tape, and composite membrane types. Primary + secondary vapor barrier usage in ammonia and LNG tanks is one of Eratherm's areas of expertise.
