From my very first day in the profession, my goal was not merely to found a company, but to bring engineering discipline, field practice and a forward-looking vision together under one roof. The journey that began with İSTAŞ Endüstri A.Ş., which I founded in Turkey, continues today under the roof of ERATHERM Endüstriyel İzolasyon A.Ş. at both national and international scale.
After my mechanical engineering studies, I completed my master's degree in fluid dynamics at the City University of New York (USA) and subsequently — mainly in the USA, Turkey, Azerbaijan and Kuwait — developed advanced engineering projects in refineries, petrochemical plants, energy facilities, mines, cement factories and the defense industry. We have delivered successful projects with leading companies such as Cengiz Holding, OMV, RWE, General Electric (GE), Siemens, Itochu, SG, METKA, Vitkovice, SAIPEM, Technicas Reunidas, SOCAR, PETKİM, Star Refinery, TÜPRAŞ RUP, Kuwait Airways, İGA, TAI-TUSAŞ, CENAL, ENKA, TEKFEN, Kawasaki, Doosan and Outotec.
Insulation is not a single engineering subject, but a discipline in which several engineering disciplines converge. It is just as much the engineering of heat transfer, thermal physics and thermodynamics as it is the interplay of application technique, material science, quality control, maintainability and cost-efficiency within the same design.
